Hello EastLake Community,
My name is Cindy Orr and I am the new proud principal of EastLake Elementary. I am looking forward to building long-lasting relationships with you and your children.
I am originally from Napa Valley and have been living in Chula Vista for the
past twenty-four years. I have two wonderful boys that keep me traveling to their new work locations. They had the wonderful opportunity to go to school in CVESD. Family is extremely important to me, and I look forward to meeting your family.
During my thirty years in education, I have worked with students in preschool through sixth grade in both Napa Valley and Chula Vista. Since 2001, I have been a teacher, a reading coach, and a principal for the last 10 year at CVESD. I have a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Science, and Technology.
The connection between home and school is necessary for the success of our children. There are many ways for you to be involved in your child’s education at school, and at home. Please look for information from me through Class Dojo, EastLake Blog, and email. I will be sharing upcoming events and important information about your child's education at EastLake Elementary.
