EastLake Elementary educates the whole child by nourishing a student's social, academic, and verbal growth. Through in-school and after school enrichment activities, our students develop into independent, kind, responsible citizens who are prepared academically and intra-personally for college and career.

Enrique S. Camarena Elementary has been awarded the distinction of a 2025 California Blue Ribbon School by the California Department of Education, one of only 31 schools in the state to receive this honor following its nomination for the National Blue Ribbon Schools award.

On November 14, 2025, Rosebank Elementary gathered as a school community to participate in the Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day. Students walked alongside staff, PTA volunteers, and School Resource Officers in recognition of Ruby Bridges and her lasting impact on public education.

At the Chula Vista Elementary School District’s Board of Education Meeting on November 12, 2025, the Board approved Board Policy 3515.1 Campus Access and Safety. As part of this policy, all non-charter school sites will transition to a closed-campus environment in the coming months.

In an effort to assist those within the community that are affected by the lapse in assistance benefits due to the ongoing government shutdown, the Chula Vista Elementary School District has compiled a list of resources available to those in need.
